ITF J30 (Winner) & J60 (Finalist)
Huge congratulations to Rising Stars Tennis Academy player, Akosua Larbi-Mensah on winning the ITF J30 Doubles championships in Ivory Coast, and finishing as runner up in the respective J60 tournament the following week. A superb effort picking up her first international accolades!

ITF JUNIOR RANKED PLAYERS
We are proud to announce that our player Akosua Larbi-Mensah officially has a Junior World Ranking. Whilst competing in Oujda, Morocco under the coaching staff at Rising Stars Tennis Academy, Akosua made the Quarter Finals of the international event. Alongside her, the team also helped another three players in the draw, with another player making the girls Quarter Finals (Maissa Bahij), a player making the boys Quarter Final (Noa Guinchard) and a player making the girls doubles Semi Final (Myrea Longhena).

LITTLE MO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS USA.
Fantastic result for Katherine Ma, winning the Little Mo U11 National Championships in Texas, without dropping a set. Great success and learning experience for player and coaches involved!

TENNIS CLINICS
Rising Stars Tennis Clinics resume on the weekend beginning 6th September 2025!
Saturday classes are held Indoors at Mayfield Leisure Centre, running from 10-11am and 11-12pm. These cater for players looking to improve their techniques are vary of ages between 4-9 years.
Sunday classes are held Outdoors at Barley Lane Park. running from 9-10am (ages 7-12) and 10-11am (ages 12-18). These classes look to improve technique as well as tactics for players looking to progress their tennis.

WIMBLEDON 2025
Founder & Head Coach Abdul had the opportunity to work with world renowned WTA Coach Kevin O'Neill in helping Kayla Day (Former Junior World Number #1, and US Open Junior Champion) prepare for the Womens Wimbledon 2025.

Train With The Stars
Rising Stars Tennis Academy was proud to hold its first “Train With The Stars” Event. It was an event for players of all ages and abilities to come and play tennis with the coaches, their peers and the stars!
We had three incredible stars come down to join our coaching team. Firstly, we had Poet, Hussain Manawer. Author of Sunday Times Best Seller ‘Life Is Sad And Beautiful,’ Hussain has worked in many big projects along side Oprah Winfrey, The Royal family and many more to help shed light on mental health. Secondly we had actor, Fady El Sayed, who has starred in many fantastic shows such as Doctor Who and Gangs of London. And finally, we has boxer Hamzah Sheeraz. The undefeated and current WBO European, WBC Silver and Commonwealth champion.
It was a fantastic day filled with lots of tennis, games and learning. A massive thank you to everyone involved and to all the children and parents for attending.
